About
The complete path to becoming a certified MLB agent. Breaking into professional baseball isn't about luck or connections you don't have. It's about understanding a business almost no one will teach you from the inside — and having someone who's done it guide you through. The Leona Sports Academy is a 12-week cohort program built to take you from the outside looking in to ready to build a real career as a certified baseball agent. Each week, you'll work through a focused part of the curriculum, complete a clear action step, and move forward alongside a cohort of people chasing the same goal. Your instructor The Academy is led by Lisette Carnet, founder of Leona Sports and one of a small number of MLBPA-certified female agents in the United States. She represents professional players and has negotiated contracts across the MLB, the KBO in Korea, the Mexican League, the Canadian Baseball League, and Latin American winter circuits. Everything in this program comes from real experience, not theory. What you'll learn Over 12 weeks, you'll master how professional baseball works as a business, how players actually get paid, the full path to MLBPA certification, how to find and sign your first client, and how to navigate the international market that sets elite agents apart. You'll finish with a personal action plan to start your career immediately. Who it's for Aspiring agents, sports management students, and career-changers who are serious about breaking into baseball. No prior industry experience required — just commitment. What makes it different This is a cohort, not a course. You get structure, accountability, a community moving with you, and direct access to a working agent. It's the education I wish existed when I was starting out — built so you don't have to figure it out alone.
